राजेंद्र सिंह की कहानी: एक शिक्षक और खेलकूद के प्रोत्साहक का सफर - The Story of Rajendra Singh: A Journey of a Teacher and Sports Enthusias“
राजेंद्र सिंह का जन्म 1 जनवरी 1971 को उत्तर प्रदेश के जौनपुर जिले के दयालपुर गांव के एक संपन्न किसान परिवार में हुआ। उनका प्रारंभिक शिक्षा जीवन ग्रामीण परिवेश के एक साधारण प्राइमरी स्कूल में शुरू हुआ। इसके बाद, उन्होंने अपनी जूनियर हाई स्कूल की पढ़ाई भी एक ग्रामीण विद्यालय से की। शिक्षा के साथ-साथ खेलकूद में भी उनकी गहरी रुचि थी, और यही कारण था कि हाई स्कूल के दिनों में वह वॉलीबॉल प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग लिया करते थे। खेलकूद के प्रति उनका यह प्रेम, उन्हें अन्य विद्यार्थियों से अलग पहचान दिलाता था।
राजेंद्र सिंह ने अपनी हाई स्कूल और इंटरमीडिएट की शिक्षा राजा हरपाल सिंह इंटरमीडिएट कॉलेज, जौनपुर से पूरी की। इसके बाद उन्होंने स्नातक और स्नातकोत्तर की डिग्रियाँ भी उसी कॉलेज से प्राप्त की। अपनी शैक्षिक यात्रा को जारी रखते हुए, राजेंद्र ने बी.एड. की पढ़ाई श्री गणेशराय स्नातकोत्तर महाविद्यालय, डोभी, जौनपुर से पूरी की।
शिक्षा पूरी करने के बाद, उन्होंने रोजगार की तलाश में मुंबई का रुख किया। 4 फरवरी 1998 को हिंदी विद्या प्रचार समिति द्वारा संचालित हिंदी हाई स्कूल में सहायक शिक्षक के पद पर उनकी नियुक्ति हुई। पठन-पाठन के साथ-साथ उनका खेलकूद के प्रति अनुराग भी बना रहा। इसके परिणामस्वरूप, 25 अप्रैल 2008 को विद्यालय के निदेशक की नजर में उनकी खेल के प्रति रुचि पड़ी और उन्हें खेल सचिव (गेम सेक्रेटरी) के पद पर नियुक्त किया गया।
राजेंद्र सिंह के नेतृत्व में, विद्यालय ने खेलकूद के क्षेत्र में नई ऊँचाइयों को छुआ। विद्यालय में खेल मैदान की कमी होने के बावजूद, वह वॉलीबॉल, बास्केटबॉल और फेंसिंग (तलवारबाजी) में राज्य स्तरीय प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग लेने वाली टीमों का हिस्सा बने। 15 जून 2013 को विद्यालय ने उन्हें पर्यवेक्षक (सुपर्वाइज़र) के पद पर नियुक्त किया, और फिर 15 जून 2021 को उपमुख्याध्यापक (Vice Principal) के रूप में उनके कार्य की सराहना करते हुए यह पद सौंपा गया।
राजेंद्र सिंह का उद्देश्य हमेशा से एक गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षक बनकर विद्यार्थियों के सर्वांगीण विकास में योगदान देना रहा है। उनकी यह यात्रा उनकी शिक्षा, खेलकूद और नेतृत्व के प्रति निष्ठा की मिसाल पेश करती है। उनकी कड़ी मेहनत और समर्पण को देखते हुए, विद्यालय के वर्तमान अध्यक्ष डॉ. राजेंद्र सिंह ने 1 नवंबर 2024 को उन्हें मुख्याध्यापक (Principal) के पद पर नियुक्त किया।
राजेंद्र सिंह का जीवन हमें यह सिखाता है कि यदि हम अपनी मेहनत, ईमानदारी और जुनून के साथ कार्य करें, तो किसी भी क्षेत्र में सफलता प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। उनका जीवन एक प्रेरणा है, जो यह दर्शाता है कि शिक्षा और खेल, दोनों के माध्यम से हम न केवल खुद को बल्कि समाज और राष्ट्र का भी उत्थान कर सकते हैं।
Rajendra Singh was born on January 1, 1971, in the prosperous farming family of Dayalpur village in Jaunpur district, Uttar Pradesh. His early education began in a simple primary school in the rural environment. Afterward, he completed his junior high school education at a rural school as well. Along with his studies, he had a deep interest in sports, which led him to participate in volleyball competitions during his high school years. His love for sports set him apart from other students.
Rajendra Singh completed his high school and intermediate education at Raja Harpal Singh Intermediate College in Jaunpur. He then pursued both his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from the same college. Continuing his educational journey, Rajendra earned his B.Ed. degree from Shri Ganesh Ray Postgraduate College, Dobhi, Jaunpur.
After completing his education, Rajendra moved to Mumbai in search of employment. On February 4, 1998, he was appointed as an assistant teacher at Hindi High School, which was run by Hindi Vidya Prachar Samiti. Along with his teaching responsibilities, his passion for sports remained intact. As a result, on April 25, 2008, the director of the school noticed his interest in sports and appointed him as the Games Secretary.
Under Rajendra Singh's leadership, the school reached new heights in the field of sports. Despite the lack of a sports ground, he led teams to participate in state-level competitions in volleyball, basketball, and fencing. On June 15, 2013, the school appointed him as the supervisor, and then, on June 15, 2021, recognizing his excellent work, he was promoted to the position of Vice Principal.
Rajendra Singh's aim has always been to be a quality teacher and contribute to the all-round development of students. His journey is a testament to his dedication to education, sports, and leadership. Observing his hard work and commitment, the current president of the school, Dr. Rajendra Singh, appointed him as the Principal on November 1, 2024.

passion, we can achieve success in any field. His life serves as an inspiration, showing that
through both education and sports, we can uplift not only ourselves but also society and
the nation.
