हिंदी विद्या प्रचार समिति द्वारा संचालित हिंदी हाई स्कूल, घाटकोपर (प.), मुंबई 400086, एक आदर्श विद्यालय के रूप में ख्याति प्राप्त है। विगत 86 वर्षों से यह विद्यालय अपने सर्वोत्तम परीक्षा परिणामों और उत्कृष्ट प्रबंधन के लिए न केवल मुंबई, बल्कि पूरे महाराष्ट्र में अनुकरणीय रहा है। विद्यालय में विद्यार्थियों के सर्वांगीण विकास को ध्यान में रखते हुए विभिन्न प्रकार के उपक्रम और कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाते हैं। एन. वार्ड द्वारा आयोजित सहशालेय कार्यक्रमों में विद्यालय ने सभी प्रकार की स्पर्धाओं में भाग लिया है। खेलकूद, सांस्कृतिक और शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों का भी नियमित आयोजन किया जाता है, जिनमें टेबल टेनिस, वॉलीबॉल, कराटे आदि खेल शामिल हैं। इसके साथ ही वक्तृत्व स्पर्धा, पाठ्य गीत गायन स्पर्धा, कहानी कथन, एकांकी नाटक प्रस्तुतीकरण, वाद्य संगीत और भरतनाट्यम नृत्य का भी प्रशिक्षण दिया जाता है।
पूर्व प्राचार्य श्री आई.डी. सिंह के कार्यकाल में विद्यालय को मुंबई महानगर में "स्वच्छतम विद्यालय" के सम्मान से नवाजा गया था, और यह सम्मान आज भी विद्यालय ने बरकरार रखा है। वर्ष 2022-2023 में विभागीय शिक्षण उपसंचालन द्वारा विद्यालय को जिलास्तरीय "स्वच्छतम विद्यालय" पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुआ। हिंदी हाई स्कूल, घाटकोपर (प.) अपनी शैक्षणिक गुणवत्ता के कारण महाराष्ट्र के प्रमुख माध्यमिक विद्यालयों में गिना जाता है। विद्यालय को मुंबई के शिक्षा निदेशक द्वारा "स्वच्छतम विद्यालय" प्रमाणपत्र से नवाजा जा चुका है और प्राथमिक विभाग को "आदर्श पाठशाला" के प्रमाणपत्र से सम्मानित किया गया है। विद्यालय के शिक्षकों को "मेयर पुरस्कार" प्राप्त हो चुका है, और विद्यालय के भूतपूर्व प्रधानाचार्य श्री आई.डी. सिंह को "राष्ट्रपति पुरस्कार" से सम्मानित किया गया है।
मुंबई महानगर के विद्यालयों में हिंदी हाई स्कूल एकमात्र ऐसा विद्यालय है जिसके पास अपना राइफल क्लब है, जिसे अखिल भारतीय राइफल एसोसिएशन की मान्यता प्राप्त है, जिसमें प्वाइंट 22 बोर की 21 राइफल्स हैं। इन राइफल्स के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों को मार्क्समैनशिप की ट्रेनिंग दी जाती है। हिंदी हाई स्कूल में जूनियर डिवीजन एनसीसी का यूनिट 1968 से कार्यरत है, जिसमें 100 कैडेट रहते हैं।

For the past 86 years, this school has been exemplary not only in Mumbai but throughout Maharashtra for its excellent academic results and outstanding management. Keeping in mind the overall development of the students, various programs and activities are organized. The school has participated in all types of competitions held in co-curricular programs organized by the N-Ward. Regular sports, cultural, and academic activities are conducted, including table tennis, volleyball, karate, and more. In addition, students receive training in oratory competitions, song singing competitions, storytelling, one-act play presentations, instrumental music, and Bharatnatyam dance.
During the tenure of the former principal, Shri I.D. Singh, the school was honoured with the title of "Cleanest School" in the Mumbai Metropolitan area, and this honour has been maintained by the school to this day. In the academic year 2022-2023, the school received the district-level "Cleanest School" award from the Departmental Teaching Subdivision. Hindi High School, Ghatkopar (W), is considered one of the leading secondary schools in Maharashtra due to its academic excellence. The school has been awarded the "Cleanest School" certificate by the Director of Education, Mumbai, and the primary department has been honoured with the "Ideal School" certificate. The school's teachers have received the "Mayor's Award," and the former principal, Shri I.D. Singh, was honoured with the "President's Award."
Among the schools in the Mumbai Metropolitan area, Hindi High School is the only school that has its own rifle club, which is recognized by the All India Rifle Association and has 21 .22 bore rifles. Through these rifles, students receive training in marksmanship. The Junior Division NCC unit has been operating at Hindi High School since 1968, with 100 cadets.
